Imogen Cunningham (1883-1976) was an American photographer known for her early work in botanical imagery and nudes. During the 1930's, Cunningham explored the industrial and architectural forms of oil refineries, lumber mills, and shipyards. During the 1940's, her focus shifted to documentary street photography.
